: r/bikecommuting
Strengths and weaknesses at a glance ✔️ Pros Excellent build quality with no visible manufacturing flaws Very good fit with a secure and comfortable feel Intuitive fit system with an easily accessible adjustment dial Integrated Mips system for additional protection Generously sized ventilation openings Comfortable to wear, even on longer rides Removable visor for greater versatility Internal pads are easy to remove and clean Glasses can be stored in the front ventilation openings ❌ Cons The straps can occasionally move out of position No insect mesh in the ventilation openings At 330 grams, it is not the lightest helmet in its class (The helmet has a slightly shorter shape than the Scott Centric) Conclusion: a versatile helmet for gravel and cross-country riding The Scott Sierra Mips impressed us with its excellent build quality, sporty design and high level of comfort
